Take a look at this Open Day – it’s a Team Multi Event. Sign up in teams of 3 from the same age group (don’t worry, if you can’t make up a team of 3, you will be placed in to a team) and compete in 5 events with your team for points.

Team members must be registered with Little Athletics Victoria, but do not need to be from the same centre. Athletes may progress 1 age group to complete a team.

Events on the day are:
BOYS:  100m, Hurdles, 400m (U6-8)/800m (U9-16), LJ, Discus
GIRLS:  100m, Hurdles, 400m (U6-8)/800m (U9-16), LJ, Shot Put

Visit the amazing Mornington Peninsula during the summer holidays, and get some practice for the State Multi Event which is being held the following weekend.

With State Relays on Saturday, competition at Knox Park is on Sunday afternoon (3pm+) with Multi Event Day.
The Ray Abley Gift for selected Relay athletes will be run during a program break.

Santa will make an appearance and will be handing out lollies for the kids.
There will also be a free bbq on the infield at the conclusion of competition, an opportunity for people to catch up & chat.

We will also be trying our first ever Color Run after competition.
It’s free for both Little Athletes and parents (no additional registration required).
All that the kids and parents need to do to be involved is wear an old white tshirt, an old pair of shorts, old runners and some sun glasses or goggles. The color is apparently a bit hard to get out, so don’t wear anything you don’t want ruined.
You will jog a short fun course at Knox  Park, before ending up over near the Hammer area where the kids (big & small) will get covered in colored powder.
This should be a HEAP OF FUN, please stick around after the competition to make this REALLY ENJOYABLE.

Important: If families cannot do duty, it is important that they try to find someone to cover their duty on the day.

Entries have re-opened for our U6 – U8 State Carnival, that was rescheduling due to poor weather.

Thank you to all athletes, families and supporters for attending our Open twilight meet on Saturday. Special thank you our volunteers for their help setting up and running events. We hope everyone enjoyed the day.
