On Saturday, a parent crossed the track and challenged an official in relation to competition rules.
It is a timely reminder for parents to abide by the Code of Conduct and remain on the outside of the track unless they are on duty and should never challenge officials especially in front of a large group of children.
This is also important to adhere to our standard safety procedures.
If parents have any concerns with how rules are applied or events are conducted, under no circumstances should they approach the officials at the event.
In the first instance they should report any concerns to their own club Team Manager who may call for a referee if required.
