ShitBox Rally – Raising Money for Cancer Council

With the recent passing of Stephen Hough from cancer, Stephen’s Son – Michael Hough and his mate Max Noble have decided to take part in the ShitBox Rally raising funds for Cancer Council.

Michael will be known to many of our families as a Knox Little Athlete, a Coach and Mentor to many of our young athletes.

With Michael’s continued support of Knox Little Aths, we are asking our families to return that support – donate to Michael and Max and to their rally team raising money for the Cancer Council

We are doing it for Michael’s dad Stephen, who has sadly passed away just 10 weeks after diagnosis. In a full circle moment, we’ve gotten our hands on Stephen’s old 1997 Mitsubishi Magna, and we’ll be racing our way from Bendigo all the way up to Townsville, hoping it stays in one piece.

Shitbox Rally is the largest community lead fundraiser for Cancer Council in Australia and is now in its 14th year. Part of the participation is that all teams have to raise a minimum of $5,000 but most teams raise well above this amount as you can see with the Spring 2024 rally target set at $2,000,000 plus.

These funds go to Cancer Council and we are extremely proud to be doing our part to support such a worthy charity. The fundraising is the hard part, so any donation you can give is greatly appreciated. Please make sure to follow our progress via this page and the blog post below.

We are encouraging all our families to provide support to Michael and Max and donate to the cause.
