Important Calendar Change and Information – Knox Championship Day to be held on 21 March!

πŸ† Knox Championship Day – Important Update πŸ†

Knox Championship Day is one of the most important events on our season calendar. It brings our season together, celebrates the hard work of our athletes, and crowns an event champion for each age group. Traditionally, it is held on the last Saturday in March.

After careful consideration, the Knox Executive Committee has identified that postponing the event beyond 28 March would leave no realistic backup option due to the Easter break and school holidays. This significantly increases the risk of the event being unable to proceed if weather or other issues arise.

πŸ‘‰ As a result, the Knox Championship Day has been rescheduled to:
Saturday, 21 March 2026.

Athlete Qualification Requirements

To be eligible to compete in Knox Championship Day:

β€’ Athletes must have completed at least 50% of available competition weeks from their registration date – the centre will publish a list of qualified athletes over the coming weeks.
β€’ Parents must have completed a minimum of 6 weeks of duty.
β€’ Families registering after Christmas will be assessed on a pro-rata, case-by-case basis.

Entry Fees

The Executive Committee is pleased to confirm that Championship Day entries will be free this year.
The entry portal will open after Regionals.

Knox Championship Day is the highlight finale of our season β€” let’s work together to make it another outstanding celebration of our athletes and club.
