Season 2023/24 Track and Field Weekly Program Finalised and Available.

The weekly program for Season 23/24 Track and Field has been finalised is an available for download.

If you are new to Knox Little Aths or you have been with us for a few years there are some key things to our weekly program:

  • First events will be called by the announcers at the scheduled start times. Friday twilights 6pm, Saturdays 8.30am and Sunday Afternoons from 3pm.
  • Please ensure that you arrive on time – If you are on duty please arrive a minimum of 15-20mins prior to the start time to sign in at the duty table. Again this year the duty sign in will be setup at the Southern Gate Entry (Grandstand End).
  • Please be patient when waiting for events to be called during competition times – Some age groups will need to wait for an event while other age groups finish. The announcers will make every effort to get athletes to events quickly however there will be delays every now and then.
  • 1500m walks for u12 – U17 athletes on program B – start at 8am sharp – The starter will not wait for athletes that turn up late. If athletes are late they will not be permitted to join in and will miss the event.
  • Spectators are not permitted in any areas that are part of the “field of play”. This is a safety requirement of the centre. There is a spectator fence around the track – parents/guardians and other spectators must stay behind the fence. Only Athletes, parents/guardians on duty and officials are permitted in competition field of play areas. If a spectator is within the field of play the event will be paused and they will be asked to move behind the fence by the event chief or one of the centre referees.
  • Parents/guardians are welcome to take photos of their own children – however we ask that you do this from behind the spectator fence. Please do not enter the competition area to take photos. Only Knox LAC official photographers can enter the competition areas.

If any one has questions on the weekly program please do not hesitate to reach out to a committee member.
