Knox LAC Cross Country Open Day is on this Saturday the 22nd May 2021. Late Registrations are open until 11.59pm tonight. We will be running the EMR Region cross country course. Great practice run for those planning to enter EMR region cross country on the 19th of June 2021.
There will be no on the day registrations.

Time: First event at 9:00 am to last event finishes at approximately 12:00 pm.
Where: Jells Park South (Oaks Picnic Area), Ferntree Gully Road, Wheelers Hill

If you have not registered, please do not turn up tomorrow expecting to run. This is not a weekly event, and all participants must have pre-entered and paid. Athletes will be called to marshal 15mins prior to their age group race start to have their name ticked off. Please listen for announcements on the day. It is the athletes responsibility to marshal as required. Race starts will not be held up due to late arrivals.

Duty Roster – Are you on duty?

Parent Duty is compulsory. Please check the attached duty roster and report in no later than 15 minutes prior to the rostered start time. Failure to attend duty may result in athletes being withdrawn from events.

Uniforms

Athletes must wear their centre or club uniforms. Please do not wear anniversary tops or other sports top, training tops or jackets/jumpers. A uniform check will be done when athletes marshal. Athletes not wearing correct tops will not be permitted to start.

Name Patches must be worn and visible. All name patches must have Commonwealth Bank Stickers on them. Anyone in a Subway branded patch will not be permitted to compete.

Spikes are not permitted.

Open to athletes registered with Little Athletics Victoria — Knox and other centres.
One (1) event per athlete.
Athletes may enter up one Age Group to make a team – Please plan for this before entering as no changes will be accepted to age groups after entry.
Spikes are not permitted.

• Online Entries close at 11:59 PM on Wednesday 19 May 2021
• $9 per athlete (includes SportsTG processing fee).
• Late Entries will be accepted online up until 11:59 PM on Friday 21 May 2021
• Late entry fee is $15 per athlete (also includes SportsTG processing fee).
• Credit card only.
• There will be NO on the day entries.

This weeks cross country is our Pink Day Event. We are raising money for the Breast Cancer Network Australia. Come dressed in pink and donate to a worthy cause

There are three ways you can help us support this great cause:

• purchase tickets for our raffle to be drawn on Saturday after our Under 6 race – 1 ticket for $2 or 3 for $5
• donate some loose change into our collection tins

The goal is to raise more than $1000 for the BCNA!

There are still spots that need to be filled for parent duty. We are currently needing 3 families for Canteen/BBQ and a course marshals.
