Parent Duty Parents must do duty for either the full morning or afternoon session. Failure to do so will result in athletes being removed from events. Please do not ask for an exemption as none will be granted. If you are unable to do duty – or arrange for someone to do it for you – for the full morning or afternoon session, please do not enter as we do not want to have to remove your child/ren from events on the day.
Duty is compulsory for all families attending. Please ensure you are ready for duty and have checked in with the team manager at least 10mins before your scheduled duty time. Reminder to all families that Knox LAC does enforce if you do not complete your duty as directed your child will be withdrawn from their events and take no further part. Please note: As we have had a number of athletes withdraw due to covid or injury therefore you may be asked to stay at your duty a little longer to help out or undertake a different duty as directed by the team manager.
COVID As noted, we have had a number of athletes and their families withdraw this week due to Covid. If you are not feeling well, have any symptoms or are required to be in isolation PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND.
If you cannot attend and have not yet done so please let the Knox Team Manager know ASAP.
COVID Protocols will be in place at State Champs.
Grand Prix Setup The grand prix is currently being set up and is therefore going to make parking more difficult. Lakeside Drive is closed from Friday night (11th March). If you use Lakeside Drive you will need to find another route. Aughtie Drive has been rerouted through the stadium carpark effectively splitting it in two. Note: Weekend car parking in the stadium carpark will still be $5.50 to park there. Free parking will still be available in streets around the the stadium but please check parking signs. Please allow enough time to arrive and park.
