The Knox Athletics Community was joined by Jackson Taylor MP, Member for Bayswater, on Monday 23rd May 2022 to announce that the State Government is providing $250,000 to support critical upgrades to to the track facilities.

The proposed works include the resurface of the track, upgrades to the field and better lighting to name a few. This funding will support Knox Council in delivering these works.

This is an exciting time for Knox Little Athletics as we work towards the track upgrades. These works will support athletics in Knox and make the Knox Athletics track one of the best tracks in the eastern suburbs.

For further information on the announcement you can visit Jackson Taylors facebook page post here.

The Executive Committee will make further announcements on the track upgrades as information comes to hand.

Jackson Taylor, State Member for Bayswater, will be at the track today at 4.30pm to make a very special announcement for the Centre and the Track Facilities.

If you would like to join the Executive Committee this afternoon to hear the news Knox LAC families are more than welcome to attend.
