Welcome to Knox Open Twilight for 2022. Thank you to all those that registered for the event. We have more than 400 athletes from 36 centres attending. A huge thank you to all of the centres for supporting what is going to be a great afternoon and evening of athletics.

The program for this Saturdays Knox Open Twilight is now completed for all track & field events. You can download the timetable below.

Please Note: There will be no changes to the event timetable.

The Duty Roster for Knox Families is being finalised and will be posted soon.

Event Information

• Events will start at 2pm sharp
• There are no Call Rooms for any events – just go straight to the marshalling area indicated in the timetable.
• Please refer to the maps around the venue if unsure where to go.
• Please check in 15 minutes prior to the listed start time for your events.
• If you have a clash between a track and a field event, please advise the field event first that you have a clash, then report to the relevant track event.
• Once you have completed the track event you can go straight to the field event provided you checked in beforehand.

Venue Entry – Entry to the venue is via the gate at the southern end of the venue (Grandstand end).

Canteen – Canteen service will be available from 2pm. A BBQ will be running from 4.30pm until 7pm. Food from the BBQ can be purchased through the Canteen. Coffee Van will be onsite from 2pm.

Covid Safety
The event will be run in accordance with LAVic Covid Safety Protocols. It is a requirement that all attendees must sign in. QR Codes and Manual Sign In sheets will available at the entrance gate. Covid Safety Officers will be on duty.
Hand sanitiser will be available for athlete use at events.

The committee has been advised that there are some track repairs occurring today at the track.

These repairs are to the long and triple jump runways at the Pavillon end, the northern javelin runway and lane 8 near the 200m start.

Training sessions will go still ahead and coaches will adjust training to suit.

Please stay away from these areas while the repair work is occurring.

If you are competing at the State Combined event on the 29th and 30th of January and you have High Jump as an event (U14 – U16 Only) the High Jump Mat will be available on Monday 17th from 5pm to 6pm for practice.

Brad Krawzcyk will be available to help with any fine tuning of run ups and techniques.

Please note this is not a general high jump training session for other athletes and is only available for those competing at State Combined Events.

It is not too late to register as a new member or renew your membership with Knox Little Athletics Centre.

As of the 9^th of January 2022 registration fees have been reduced to $135 per athlete for the remainder of the season.

The reduced fee includes the remainder of the track and field season through to 2nd April 2022 and also includes the 2022 Winter Cross Country starting in Late April.

Are you competing at State Combined Events on the 29 and 30 January or Regionals on the 12 and 13 February and need to purchase Knox uniform. You can order online through the Knox Uniform shop and collect it at the track (under the grandstand) on Saturday from 10am.

Please note: Uniforms are only available for purchase online and can be collected at the track from 10am.

We will not be selling Knox uniforms at the track this Saturday.
