Alan has advised that with the wet weather continuing this afternoon there will be no high jump training tonight.

Did you attend the working bee prior to the season starting on the 3rd September?

If you did and you signed in on the day, the KLAC Treasurer – Kris Shipham – will have the $30 working bee levy to refund to you.

You can see Kris at Scorseby Striders during the morning tomorrow to collect your refund.

One of the most exciting events in the Track & Field season is Relays. Relays present a unique opportunity for athletes to compete as part of a team.

The Knox Little Athletics Centre has a proud and successful history of competition in Relays and will again be offering Knox athletes the opportunity to join a relay squad in the 2022-23 Track & Field season.

Training is provided – ability is not important.

Cost of Relays is $15 per athlete.

Knox LAC opening ceremony for season 2022-23 is this Saturday 1 October 2022. Knox LAC extends an invite to all the Centre Life Members to attend on Saturday.

Clubs and athletes will begin getting ready for the opening ceremony at 9.45am with the formal part of opening ceremony to begin at 10am sharp.

There are a number of life members that the Centre does not have up to date contact details. If you have not been in contact with the Centre for sometime you can update your contact details through our secretary.

If you are a life member and would like to attend please rsvp to our Centre Secretary, Susan, at secretary@klac23.org.au.

With the season underway, Knox LAC will hold its Season 2022-23 Opening Ceremony this coming Saturday – 1 October 2022.

There will be a break in the competition program at 9.45am and we will ask athletes to head on to the front straight to sit in the club groups.

There will be some formal presentations and handout of some awards and photos of each club will be taken.

All former athletes and their families are welcome to attend the opening ceremony.
