For the Knox families heading to the Cross Country Open Day this Saturday the duty roster has been prepared and finalised.

Please note: Duty for Knox families is compulsory. If you do not undertake your assigned duty your child with be scratched from their race. If you cannot do your duty, it is your responsibility to find another person to do it for you and advise our duty manager at manager@klac23.org.au

Please ensure that you sign in with the duty manager at least 15 mins prior to you assigned duty time.

Name Patches
Please do not forget to bring your name patches. We will not be providing temporary patches on the day.

If your child does not have name patch your child will not be permitted to compete.

Medal Engraving
There will be a engraver on site during the morning.

Coffee Van and Canteen
Good News – Our regular coffee van will also be in attendance for the morning. Our canteen will also be open with hot food and drinks for sale.

Entries must be in by 11.59pm on Wednesday 14 June 2023
Date: Saturday 17 June 2023
Time: First event at 9:00 am to last event finishes at approximately 12:00 pm.
Where: Jells Park South (Oaks Picnic Area)), Ferntree Gully Road, Wheelers Hill

Registration
Open to athletes registered with Little Athletics Victoria — Knox and other centres.
One (1) event per athlete.
Athletes may enter up one Age Group to make a team – Please plan for this before entering as no changes will be accepted to age groups after entry.
Spikes are not permitted.

The cross country calendar for season 2023 has been updated with some minor changes to events.

Knox LAC will not be running any events on the Kings Birthday long weekend. Everyone has a weekend off.

EMR this season will be run at Ruffey Lake Park Doncaster (Doncaster Hosting)

Yarra Ranges LAC has advised that they are running cross event on Kings Birthday weekend and Knox athletes are welcome to join in.

Yarra Ranges XC – Morrisons Reserve, Mt Evelyn – From 8.45am in the parklands next to the track, meeting near the high school buildings. Look for the flag and tent.

Mike has advised the centre that he is unwell and will not be available for his training sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays for the next week or two at the track.

If you do train with Mike, he will post updates to training sessions to his media pages and will advise the centre once he is back and ready to resume training.
