This year Knox LAC will have live results for its Championship Day via Results Hub.

Results will be upload to Results Hub as soon they are verified after events have been completed. It provides you a number of ways to look up results on the day including morning or afternoon sessions, individual events and by athlete.

To access the live results you will need to head to results Hub (you can click on the link below on the day)

Have you forgotten your events?
If you have forgotten what event you entered you can look up the live results, there are start lists for each event. You can search for your child’s name and it will list all events they have been entered into.

If you are competing at the Knox Track and Field Championship Day this Saturday, the duty roster has been finalised.

The duty roster can downloaded below.

Please note, that the duty roster is set up for morning and afternoon duty times. Please note your duty. There will be no changes to the duty roster.

Parent Duty is compulsory. If you are on duty in the morning you must sign in by 8.45am. Those that are on duty in the afternoon you must sign in by 12.45pm
Failure to attend duty will result in athletes being withdrawn from events.

Uniforms and Name Patches
All athletes MUST wear correct CLUB uniform with name/registration patch. Knox Centre competition tops are not be worn.
Please do not forget to bring your name/registration patch. If you do not have a name patch on, you will not be permitted to compete.

Event Information

• There are no call rooms and no event announcements, athletes need to be at their event 10 minutes before the listed time for each event.
• There are no heats, all track events are straight finals.
• If you have a track event and field event on at the same times, the TRACK event takes PRIORITY. Advise the field event that you will be there once you have finished your race.
• There are only a few minutes allocated per athlete in most of the field events, so if you have a clash your field event (apart from high jump) may be over before you return. As long as you have advised the chief that you had a clash you will be able to fit your jumps/throws in while the next group is there, provided you return promptly.
• Alternatively, if you have time beforehand, see if you can get your jumps/throws done earlier.

Live Results
A link to the live results will be available in the next day or so. You will be able to check your entries and start lists for each event. If you have forgotten which events you registered for you will be able to check the live results site prior to Saturday.

Canteen and BBQ
The canteen will be open. A BBQ will be running from 10am to 2pm and will have sausages and hamburgers for sale.

Medal Engraving
Medal engraving will be available on the day. The engraver will be located near shot put adjacent to the presentation area.

For all those athletes that are heading to the Knox Championship Day this Saturday the timetable of events has been finalised.

Reminder

Knox LAC is currently working on our 2023 Cross Country season and we will be making some announcements shortly on the season.

The first week of the season has been confirmed and the season will start on the 22 April 2023 (last weekend of the school Holidays).

For new athletes wanting to register for Cross Country Season the portal to register will open shortly. Registration for Cross Country is online via the LAVic website. For more information on the cross country season for new athletes click below:

If you are an athlete that registered for the Track and Field season you are already registered for the cross country season. There is nothing for you to do, but turn up and compete.

The Executive Committee has been made aware that Knox Council has delayed the refurbishment works for the track. Refurbishment works to the track are now unlikely to occur before June this year.

While it is disappointing that Council has had to delay the project, they do remain committed to the refurbishment of the track and we continue to keep working with the Council to ensure that the project does keep moving forward.

Council has advised that the tenders for the proposed work have been reviewed and unfortunately they do not meet the budget requirements for Council. This means that Council will now go through a redesign process and re-tender the project later in the year.

There has been further discussions with Council in the last couple of weeks and we are waiting for Council to provide updated scope of works. The Knox Board of Management on behalf of KLAC, has put forward some options for Council to consider including timing for the works to limit disruptions on our 2023/24 track and field season.
