Who runs when?

Every now and then we’re asked about the cross country event order, and when a particular age group will run.

The only race with a set start time is the first event, which starts at 9am.

All other races will commence in order after the preceding race has been completed and, normally, the whole morning’s program is completed by 10.30am.

The order for the day is usually up on the notice board.

The event order rotates on a weekly basis with the exception of the U6 race, which is always the 3rd race.

The last race one week becomes first race the following week, the first race becomes the second race, and so on.

So, you can understand that it’s difficult to predict when an age group will run.

Checkout the notice board each week for the event order and other cross country info.

If you arrive early for your event, cheer on the other age groups as they run, and warm up so you’re ready to run when you’re called for your race.
