Reminder: Chief Official Training This Saturday

Chief Official Training is on this Saturday the 13th at 10:30 AM.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced past Chiefs and get a real feel for how things run on competition days.

If you haven’t yet heard from your club team managers, you will soon! This is one session you won’t want to miss!

Why become a Chief Official?

  • Confidence – you’ll be guided through each event so you feel comfortable and capable.
  • Knowledge – learn how everything runs and how to support the kids effectively.
  • Flexibility – Chiefs enjoy a more structured calendar over the summer, making it easier to plan your weekends.

You’ll also get hands-on experience with the many different roles that bring a little athletics meet to life. Everything from calling athletes to the start line, recording results, and ensuring events run smoothly.

Whether you’re brand new to officiating or simply want to refresh your skills, this training will show you just how much teamwork, energy, and satisfaction comes from being part of the action. You’ll leave feeling confident in a variety of roles and knowing that you’re a vital part of making our meets a success.

Please note: You will be required to hold (or willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check.

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday at 10:30 AM—come ready to learn, ask questions, and step into the role with confidence!

👉 If you’re not able to make this Saturday, please reach out to your club managers to work through alternative dates.

Thank you!
