Region Cross Country – Family Information and Duty Roster

Knox Little Athletics looks forward to seeing our athletes and families at the Region Cross Country Carnival on Saturday 18 July 2026 at T.H. Westfield Reserve, Clifton Hill.

Parking and refreshments

Parking at the reserve is limited. Families are encouraged to park near the Fairfield Park Boathouse and Tea Gardens, which is approximately a 600-metre walk from the course.

The Boathouse is also the closest place to purchase coffee before the event. A BBQ will be available at the venue during the day.

Athlete check-in

Athletes should arrive with sufficient time to check in with the Knox Team Manager at the Knox table before proceeding to the call room for marshalling.

Parent duty

Parent duty is compulsory and is essential to ensuring the event is safe, enjoyable and well run.

Families should check the duty roster for their allocated role and report to the Knox Team Manager table at least 10 minutes before the allocated duty time.

Please note that closed-toe footwear must be worn while undertaking duty.

Thank you to all parents and carers for your support, flexibility and willingness to assist. These events could not operate without the contribution of our volunteer community.

Timetable and course maps

The final Region timetable and course maps are available with the event information.

Families are encouraged to review these documents before arriving.

Uniform requirements

All athletes must wear the full Knox competition uniform, including:

  • Knox yellow and black singlet, crop top or T-shirt
  • Coles patch sewn above the Little Athletics Victoria logo
  • Black shorts or pants, with logos no larger than 4 cm × 4 cm
  • Commonwealth Bank registration name patch worn on the front

Long-sleeved tops or T-shirts may be worn underneath the Knox competition top. These must be black, yellow or white and must not display any visible logos.

We wish all Knox athletes the best of luck and look forward to a great day of cross-country competition.
