The State Cross-Country Relay Championships is a Teams event, where 3 athletes complete a Relay over a Cross-Country course. The distances are less than the individual Cross-Country distances to allow greater flexibility and formation of Teams. Athletes do not carry a baton, they start and finish within a transition zone.
Please Note: Dogs are NOT permitted within the venue. Dogs are not permitted at any Little Athletics Victoria event, you will be asked to leave if they arrive with a dog.
Congratulations to past Knox Little Athlete Rhydian Cowley who smashed three minutes off his personal best time, and set a new Australian Record in the Men’s 35km Race Walk last Sunday in Melbourne.
Saturday the 13th of May at Jells Park North we will be holding our annual Pink Sports Day – Cross Country – in support of Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).
We ask that you get involved by coming along dressed in pink and donating a gold coin per athlete competing.
Donations will be collected on the start line as well as roaming collection tins.
Together we are helping BCNA to inform, support, connect and represent all Australians affected by breast cancer.
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian women with one in seven diagnosed in their lifetime. Over 20,000 women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year as well as over 170 men.
Your support will help these women, men and families to not go through their journey alone. If you would prefer to donate online please do so via the below link.
