Chief Officials Training – Sat 20Sep

All chiefs are required to attend training on Saturday 20 September 2014.

If you will not be available for this training, please advise your Club President, Secretary or Team Manager ASAP.

The program:

  • 9-10:30: Theory and practical session run by the Chief of Officials and co.
  • 10:30-12: Put your training the test with athletes during tryout.

Preparation: Bit of reading

What about Starters?

To become a starter you must attend a starters seminar – this is different to the Chief Officials training. It’s free, and you get an LAVic starters polo, cap and certificate.

To register for a seminar, go to the LAVic Website select ‘Starters Seminars’, and following the instructions.

Upcoming seminars: Sun 21Sep at Collingwood, Wed 8Oct at Coburg, Sun 12Oct at Knox.

Once you have done this, the comp committee will put you on their list and buddy you up with one of Knox’s other starters until you are proficient.
