Do you have a friend that might like to try out cross country? Why not ask them to come down tomorrow to have a go!
Just make sure they wear appropriate clothes and footwear for cross country, and that they arrive a little earlier to check-in at the registration tent and get a temporary patch.
To commemorate 100 years of ANZAC, we will be collecting donations for the Boronia RSL.

We’ve just completed an action packed weekend at Lakeside Stadium in the LA Vic State Championships.
Congratulations to the 87 athletes from Knox Little Athletics Centre who participated. There were some fantastic results including plenty of PBs. For the athletes who didn’t medal, we’re very proud of their achievements competing at such a high level of competition. For athletes who didn’t win a medal, most scored a new shirt. Well done kids!
The final medal count was:
Gold: 12
Silver: 6
Bronze: 6
Total: 24
U9B Jaydan Wigney participated in 7 races (3 heats, 4 finals) over the weekend and finished with 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze in 800m, 400m, 200m and 100m in his first ever LA Vic State Championships. Well done Jaydan!
Congratulations to Fran’s walkers who won 11 medals in total.
