DUTY ROSTER CHANGES

We have been inundated with requests to change duty. It’s always a tricky job to allocate positions. At this point we cannot guarantee that changes can be made.

What to do now? We recommend contacting another family directly to see if they’ll swap. Otherwise, on arrival at the track (earlier the better) check with the duty manager or another family to see if they can swap.

State T&F Championships
Do you have correct Knox uniform?

Knox Top: Singlet or crop with ORANGE JETSTAR PATCH SEWN ON. Singlets and crops available from the Uniform Shop. Jetstar patch available from the Canteen.

Shorts: Must be black with no pockets, and no logos bigger than 3cm. Tape over logos not recommended. Black or beige skins (or similar) with no coloured stitching or logos, can be worn under shorts. A small supply of shorts is available from the Uniform Shop.

The Uniform Shop will not be open at the track. All purchases must be made online with credit card.

Orders placed online will be delivered to your club on Saturday 5 March. Otherwise sent to State Champs with the Team Manager.

Important: Please use a tablet or laptop/desktop to access shop. May not work on mobile phones.

Knox LAC Championship Day is on Saturday.
The meet will commence at 9am and finish around 4pm.

Any questions regarding relay events should be directed to Stephen Hough.

Kids Relays

Girls teams, boys teams, mixed teams. See your Club committee if you are interested in representing your club.

The fine print: Races for Boys teams and Girls Teams. Mixed Gender teams can compete in the Boys race/s. Combined age group of the 4 athletes must be no greater than 45. e.g. U10 + U11 + U12 + U12; U8 + U10 + U12 + U15. Teams can represent their club, or smaller clubs can combine.

Parents Relay

Parents, coaches, volunteers, supporters – get together and show the kids you’ve still got it! These races are for fun, not prize money! Form a team, let the kids cheer you on for a change as you burn up the track while trying not to do a hammy.

The fine print: Races for Male teams and Female teams. Combined age group of the 4 runners should be no less than 160 (honesty system applies, no birth certificates needed!) e.g. 35 + 38 + 42 + 45; 28 + 42 + 44 + 46. Teams can represent clubs or groups, e.g. a Club Presidents team, a Team Managers team, a team of coaches.

LAVic have announced the Preliminary Qualifiers for the State Track and Field Championships.

If you have made the list and do not wish to compete in an event, please notify LAVic via email office@lavic.com.au, before 11:59pm on Thursday 3 March.

This gives another athlete an opportunity to compete.

Final Qualifiers will be posted on Friday 4 March, and no changes will be made after this point.
