Cross Country is back and underway for another season, Koomba Park saw one of the sunniest starts that I can remember.

This Saturday 22Apr, we are at Norton’s Park.

Location changes. There are a number of venue changes so don’t go by the handbook. See the full season calendar and race order on our website, along with the new course layouts.

Join the Cross Country Committee! We need to fill a number of positions now in preparation for next year. We also need to have enough people on duty each week to ensure CC runs smoothly. Please put your name on the sheet on the notice board, or come see me or Mike Kerr on the day.

Canteen. Back by popular demand, our canteen will have bacon and eggs, and sausages. We will  selling water this week. There’s also a “Pink Day”collection tin there for the next few week’s for anyone who would like to make a donation.

THANK YOU to Big Watermelon Bushy Park on High Street Rd for generously donating fresh fruit for athlete’s to eat at the completion of their race. Please consider dropping by Bushy Park to check out their great range of fresh produce at competitive prices.

Just a friendly reminder…

• NO RUNNING UP. Athletes can only run in the event assigned to their age group.
• All athletes must be registered with LAVic for the purpose of insurance.
• Patches are required by ALL ATHLETES. NO PATCH, NO START!
• Adults cannot run in childrens races. See the calendar for scheduled parents runs.
• Parents or past athletes interested in running as a hare or slug should contact Mike Kerr or Mark O’Mahoney.
• Family duty is compulsory. Please put your name on the list or see one of the officials.
• KLAC behaviours policies apply to athletes, parents and officials at all Cross Country Events.
