Program C – Knox LAC Cross Country
Sat 16th June at Knox Park, Bunjil Way, Knoxfield. See course map.
First race starts at 9am sharp.

It’s an action-packed day at Knox Park: Beyond Blue Fundraiser – gold coin donations please | Football Colours – all athletes to wear their football colours for their run | Parent’s 2km run | Colour Run at the conclusion of the morning (remember to bring a change of shirt for the colour run – preferably white).

Each family is required to do 2 x duties throughout the season.

ProgC Race Order: U9&10 1500m > U13-16 3000m > U6 500m > > Parent’s 2000m > U7&8 1000m > U11&12 2000m.

The Knox track discus & hammer cages are being upgraded, with work commencing on Wed 6th June. Works will be for approximately  6-8 weeks.

During the period of construction there will be limited/restricted access and use of the track. A crossover will be placed over a section of the running track to protect the track surface from vehicular traffic. Use of the track around the works area will be at the discretion of the Contractor.

Eastern Metropolitan Region Cross Country

When: Saturday 23 June 2018
Where: Ruffey Park Lake, Victoria Street, Doncaster East (Melways 33J10)
Who: U9 – U15 registered athletes
     U9-U10: 1.5km
     U11-U12: 2km
     U13-U15: 3km
Register: Online with LAVIC – closes Monday 11 June 11:59pm.
Cost: $20 (+ admin fee).
Athletes must register and participate at Region to progress to State Championships.

Make sure you have correct uniform!

EMR Kid’s Fun Run **REGO CLOSES THIS FRIDAY 9PM**

When: Saturday 23 June 2018 @ 9:15am
Where: Ruffey Park Lake, Victoria Street, Doncaster East (Melways 33J10)
Who: U6-U8 athletes. All participants must be current registered Little Athletics members.
     U6: 500m (non-competitive)
     U7-U8: 1000m (non-competitive)
All finishers will receive a participation medal.
