On Monday the 2nd of November Knox LAC received from LAVic the updated protocols for training and competition for Metro Based Centres. Knox LAC has met these requirements and now has authorisation from LAVic to get the season underway.
We are therefore pleased to announce that sanctioned training at Knox LAC will start from Monday 9th November 2020 at Knox Athletics Track. However Covid protocols will be in place.
To attend training at Knox LAC athletes must be registered.
This is a requirement of LAVic and ensures that all athletes participating in sanctioned training are insured to do so.
Training with the various coaches will run from 4.30pm through until 7pm. Please check the Knox LAC Coaching Page for specific coaching times and other details.
Are you an athlete from another Centre or Organisation?
If you have trained at Knox in the past and you are registered at another Centre, you now must have permission from your home Centre and Knox LAC before commencing training with the Knox Coaches. This is a requirement of the current Metro Protocols issued by LAVic on 2 November 2020 which states:
Athletes residing in metropolitan Melbourne may seek permission to train and compete with another Centre or Organising Body in metropolitan Melbourne. Permission must be sought and granted in advance from both Centres.
If you are from another centre and you would like to train at Knox with our coaches, please email our Centre secretary at secretary@klac23.org.au before attending coaching sessions.
Please Note: Priority will be given to Knox LAC athletes before athletes from other centres at training due to group size limits
Covid Protocols at Training
Covid protocols are in place for all training sessions.
