All people undertaking a role at the Centre that are not listed as a parent or guardian on a current athlete’s registration (parent 1 or parent 2) MUST complete the ‘Non parent volunteer registration’.
This includes official roles (e.g. committee, coaching) and weekly general duty.
Registration ensures that these volunteers:
- are covered* by LAVic insurance during the Centre’s Little Athletics sanctioned events, AND
- meet child protection policy requirements (WWC check).
*Cover starts from the date the form is submitted.
All people who complete this registration also have an opportunity to apply for registration as an Ordinary Member. Ordinary Membership authorises the holder to attend and vote at Centre meetings, e.g. AGM.
