We have been informed by LAVic that the length of spikes for events is now 6mm.
This does not apply to Javelin and High Jump.
This will be enforced at State meets – including the upcoming State Relays.
Athletes will also be reminded of this requirement at EMR meets.
If you have 7mm spikes, please change them to 6mm to avoid entire team disqualification.
