Congratulations to all athletes that competed at the LAVic Track and Field State Championships over the weekend.
All your hard work has put Knox at the top of the medal count, with a total of 45 medals.
This year our athletes achieved 15 Gold, 15 Silver and 15 Bronze.
Last year Knox finished 11th with a total of 22 medals.
This achievement is due to our dedicated athletes, parent coaches and senior coaches, and the strong coaching programs on offer at our Centre.
It wasn’t all medals! A number of athletes achieved personal best performances, and set new club and centre records. Amber Clarke also broke a Victorian record in hurdles and Charlotte Hay has been selected to represent Victoria at Nationals due to her strong result in the U13 walk.
