Knox Little Athletics Centre is pleased to release the 2026/27 Track and Field Season Calendar.
The calendar includes our regular Saturday, Sunday and twilight competitions, together with Knox Centre events, Region and State Championships, Open Days and scheduled holiday breaks.
Key dates
- 1 September 2026 – Registrations open
- 5 September 2026 – Centre Working Bee
- 12 September 2026 – Tryout Day and Chief Official Training
- 3 October 2026 – Opening Ceremony and first competition of the season
- 21 November 2026 – LAVic Region Relay Carnivals at Yarra Ranges
- 5 December 2026 – Knox Open Day Twilight
- 12–13 December 2026 – State Relay Championships at Lakeside
- 16–17 January 2027 – State Combined Events Championships at Lakeside
- 6–7 February 2027 – Region Track and Field Carnivals at Knox
- 6–7 March 2027 – LAVic State Track and Field Championships at Lakeside
- 20 March 2027 – Knox Centre Championship Day
- 2 May 2027 – Proposed start of the Knox Cross Country season
The season will also feature several twilight competitions, including the Cup Weekend meet on 30 October, along with Friday evening competitions during December and January.
Athletes and families are encouraged to download the full calendar and note the important dates for the season. Please remember that dates, venues and start times may be subject to change. Any updates will be communicated through the Knox Little Athletics website, social media pages and official Centre communications.
