Duty Roster for Knox LAC Families
The final parent duty roster can be downloaded below. The Knox Team Manager has also sent the roster via email to all entered families.
Please note your duty and time. As the duty roster is set, there will be little chance of changing it.
Parent Duty
Please note: Parent duty at State Track and Field Championship is compulsory. A reminder that all parents agreed to the condition of undertaking duty when registering.
Note: Knox LAC does enforce the following policy:
If you do not turn up for the duty assigned to you, or you do not complete your duty as required, your child will be scratched from all their events and will take no further part.
If you cannot do the duty assigned to you, you are responsible for finding another person/family to do that assigned duty, and advise the Knox LAC Team Manager without delay of the change.
If you scratch your child between now and Sunday night, you are still required to turn up for duty.

Download the venue map below. Please note Shot put 1 and 2 and Discus 2 are located outside the main stadium.
Call Rooms
For track events, the call room will close 20mins before the event. We recommend that athletes are in the call room 30mins before the scheduled event time.
LAVic have advised there will be no call room for Field Events. Athletes should head directly to the field event to sign in at least 20 mins before the scheduled event time.
Event Scratching.
If you need to scratch your child from an event on the weekend, you must let the Knox LAC Team Manager know in advance. There is a scratch form that must be completed and handed in to LAVic officials prior to the event.
Covid Protocols and QR code sign in
Covid Protocols will be in place for State Track and Field Championships.
All families attending states will need to sign in with the QR code which will be posted at the track.
LAVic have advised:
- Athletes should not to arrive at the venue any earlier than 90mins before their event.(Unless a parent is on duty)
- Spectators and coaches are not permitted. Please do not invite other family members such as grandparents, friends etc to spectate.
- Athletes will be asked to compete and then leave the venue immediately after they have finished unless they have a presentation to attend, or the parent has a Centre Duty to perform.
- Athletes cannot stay and watch their other Centre athletes or friends.
- Athletes that have other events during the day that are spaced out by several hours, will be asked to leave the venue and then return closer to their next event.
Knox Uniform and Coles Badges
The uniform to be worn is the Knox LAC competition top and black shorts. The shorts are not to have any pockets or stripes. Brand logos are to be smaller than 4cmx4cm.
Spikes – must not be longer than 7mm. The uniform booklet can be down loaded here which contain uniform requirements and spike requirements.

There should be no Knox LAC athletes without a Coles badge on their top. Please ensure that a Coles badge is sewn on the top right above the LAVic logo. If they are not sewn on in the correct location athletes will be sent away from the call room/event and not permitted to compete.
Commbank Stickers
Please ensure that your athletes name patch has a Commonwealth Bank Sticker over the old subway logo. If the name patch does not have Commonwealth Bank sticker on it athletes will not be permitted to compete and will be sent away from the call room.
Please do not forget your Name Patch. We will not have the ability to replace them on the day.
Knox LAC Team Location
Knox LAC will be setup in the grandstand along the front straight. Look out for the Knox Flags. The team manager’s table will be set up at the back of the grandstand seats and parents on duty will need to check in with the team manager at least 15mins before their scheduled duty time.
