Track and Field Season 2022-23 – Get Ready – Its Nearly Here

With the 2022-23 Track and Field season almost upon us Knox LAC is pleased to announce that our season will formally start on 10 September 2022.

While this is much earlier than previous seasons, this is to give us to fit in as many weeks of competition as we can get at Knox before the track is redeveloped later in the season and will help reduce the impact on the centre later in the season.

Please Note: There will be further advice on the track redevelopment in the coming weeks.

Registration

While we wait for the registration portal to open, if you are new to athletics you can register your expression of interest via the LAVic website here.

https://eventdesq.sportstg.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=main&EventDesqID=38572&OrgID=1370

If you are a returning athlete then you will receive an email from LAVic once the portal is open.

Calendar

The Executive Committee has drafted the calendar with the following key dates for the start of season.

September 10 – Week 1 – Program A and Opening Ceremony

With the season starting early there wont be a preseason tryout day this year. New athletes that wish to trial can still do so and we will have our information tents setup for the first part of the season.
