We’ve just completed an action packed weekend at Lakeside Stadium in the State Championships.
Congratulations to the 90 athletes from Knox who participated. There were some fantastic results including plenty of PBs. For the athletes who didn’t medal, we are very proud of their achievements competing at such a high level of competition. Well done kids!
The final medal count was:
Gold: 7
Silver: 9
Bronze: 7
Total: 23
We also have two unofficial Knox records which should be confirmed shortly.
Thank-you to our coaches, most do not have their own children competing but they come and dedicate their valuable time.
Thank-you to all the parents who came to support the kids and participate in duty.
Thank-you to our Knox Team Managers Steve, Brett, Mirella and Nancy who managed event clashes with event organisers, managed the duty roster and reserved a spot in the shade at the end of front straight.

Carparking
There is limited parking available within the Lakeside car park. Further parking is also available along the surrounding streets. Please be aware that the Swimming Victoria All Juniors Meet will be on at MSAC on both the Saturday & Sunday. Please ensure you allow adequate time to find a park as the area will be very busy.
Report to the call room in plenty of time. For Track, call room closes 20 minutes before your event. For Field, call roomcloses 30 minutes before your event.
Uniform
All athletes must report to the Call Room in full Centre uniform. Jackets and pants may be put on once inside the Call Room.
Spikes
The venue ruling for Lakeside Stadium is a maximum spike length of 6mm for all events except High Jump and Javelin were a maximum length of 9mm is permitted.
The Knox team will be located in the Grandstand on the finish line side.
