Multi Event is the Little Athletics version of the Decathlon and
Heptathlon. It consists of 5 events for younger athletes (from U9’s-U13’s) and
progressively more (up to 8 events) for older athletes (starting in U14’s).

Where: Joe Carmody Athletics Track, Moe
When: U9-U11 on 31 Jan, U12-U13 on 1 Feb, U14-U16 both days
Registration: Register online with LAVic. $50 per athlete. Entries close 13 Jan 2015.

In preparation for the Multi Event Championship to be held early in 2015,
Knox LAC and the Knox coaches are offering training sessions throughout
January.

Last Saturday we had 46 relay teams competing in the LAVic state relay championships at Albert Park.

We would like to thank all our athletes, parents, coaches, team managers and photographers for all the help and support during the relay season and the state relay event.

We are very proud of all the athletes who participated.

Knox Little Athletics Centre won 10 medals in total and came close to winning more with a few 4th places.

State championships are always very competitive and we continue to be amongst the best in Victoria. The baton changes were excellent which is a testament to the coaching and training during the weeks leading up to the big day.

Knox Open Day is at Knox Park on Saturday 7 Feb 2015, 2:00pm – 9:30pm.

All Knox athletes MUST register by next Saturday 20 Dec.

Entries for other centres close 16 Jan.

Print the Registration Form, choose your events, and then submit completed form with your payment to your club’s Team Manager or the computer room next to announcing.

This Saturday, we have 46 teams from Knox Little Athletics Centre competing in the LA Vic State Relay Championships at Albert Park.

All competing athletes will receive a new Jetstar patch which is to be sewn on the Knox athletics top above the LA Vic logo as shown below. All athlete uniforms are checked by officials in the call room and you will not be allowed to compete without a patch sewn on.

Please ensure the Jetstar patch is sewn on beforehand to prevent any delays.

Also ensure you allow sufficient time to find a carpark as there are other events in nearby venues on the day.
