Track closed Tuesday 6Dec

The track repair over the last couple of days has gone well.
All damaged areas on the Track, Long Jump and High Jump have now been ground out and filled with epoxy and rubber.

The repaired areas still require time to cure, which generally takes 36 hours, meaning the entire track still remains closed.

No training on any part of the track tomorrow, Tuesday.

The good news!
The track will be available on Wednesday afternoon for training, including Relay Training.
Line marking should have also been completed by this stage.

With little warning, the track is being repaired. Works are currently underway and will continue through the weekend, and into early next week.

Please stay clear of areas being repaired.

• This Saturday’s Program B & Ray Abley Gift will go ahead as planned, with some adjustments to track usage.
• Due to the works planned for Sunday, the Knox Relay Handicap has been cancelled. We hope to reschedule.
• This will also effect training during the week and over the weekend.

Unfortunately a number of track users will be inconvenienced, but at least it is finally getting fixed.
