There were some fantastic results including plenty of PBs. For the athletes who didn\u2019t medal, we\u2019re very proud of their achievements competing at such a high level of competition. For athletes who didn\u2019t win a medal, most scored a new shirt. Well done kids!<\/p>\n<p>The final medal count was:<br \/>\nGold: 12<br \/>\nSilver: 6<br \/>\nBronze: 6<br \/>\n<strong>Total: 24<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>U9B Jaydan Wigney<\/strong> participated in 7 races (3 heats, 4 finals) over the weekend and finished with 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze in 800m, 400m, 200m and 100m in his first ever LA Vic State Championships. Well done Jaydan!<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to <strong>Fran\u2019s walkers<\/strong> who won 11 medals in total.<\/p>\n<p>We also have at least one unconfirmed Knox record which should be confirmed shortly.<\/p>\n<p>Thank-you to our coaches for dedicated their time. #TrainingPaysOff<\/p>\n<p>Thank-you to all the parents who came to support the kids and help with duty. #Thank-you<\/p>\n<p>Thank-you to our Knox Team Managers Mirella, Brett and Steve who managed event clashes, the duty roster and supported our athletes over the weekend. #KnoxRox<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>87 athletes, 24 medals, lots of PBs!
