{"id":20298,"date":"2026-09-09T20:25:41","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T10:25:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/klac23.org.au\/wordpress\/?p=20298"},"modified":"2026-09-09T20:56:54","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T10:56:54","slug":"registrations-open-thursday-10-september","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/klac23.org.au\/wordpress\/?p=20298","title":{"rendered":"Registrations Open Thursday 10 September!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Join the State Champion Centre!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Registrations for the <strong>2026\u201327 Knox Little Athletics Track &amp; Field season open 10th September from 3pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After another outstanding season, <strong>Knox Little Athletics finished as the State Champion Centre last season<\/strong>, and we\u2019re ready to do it all again in 2026\u201327.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knox welcomes athletes from <strong>Under 6 through to Under 17<\/strong> to join our Centre for another exciting summer of athletics at the Knox Athletics Track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether your child is returning for another season or trying Little Athletics for the first time, Knox provides a fun, supportive and family-friendly environment where athletes can develop their skills, make new friends and enjoy the full range of track and field events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Join Knox Little Athletics?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Knox has a proud athletics history dating back to <strong>1968<\/strong> and continues to be one of Victoria\u2019s leading Little Athletics Centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By joining Knox, athletes become part of a Centre that was crowned <strong>State Champion Centre last season<\/strong> and has achieved outstanding results at State level over recent seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registered Knox athletes also have access to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A full Track &amp; Field competition program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Free coaching<\/strong> across a range of events throughout the season<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sprints, middle distance, race walking, hurdles, jumps and throws<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coaching and competition opportunities for athletes of all abilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A supportive and welcoming club and Centre environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>2027 Knox Winter Cross Country season<\/strong>, commencing in May 2027, included as part of your registration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New to Little Athletics?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Not sure if Little Athletics is right for your child?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Athletes can <strong>trial for up to two weeks<\/strong> before committing to the full season. Further information about trialling is available through Little Athletics Victoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lavic.com.au\/membership\/new-member\/\">New Member &#8211; Little Athletics Victoria<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also encourage new and prospective athletes to come along to our <strong>Tryout Day on Saturday, 12 September from 10:00 am<\/strong> to experience some of the events available at Knox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Competition Starts Saturday, 3 October<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our first competition for the 2026\u201327 Track &amp; Field season will be held on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Saturday, 3 October 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now is the perfect time to register, get involved and become part of the <strong>State Champion Knox Little Athletics Centre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Register Now<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Registrations are open now through the Little Athletics Victoria registration portal.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Returning athletes should also receive a registration renewal email with details on how to register for the new season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We look forward to welcoming our returning athletes and meeting plenty of new Knox families for the 2026\u201327 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Join Knox.
