Help Us Open Knox to More Athletes!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re excited to invite all members to an extraordinary meeting<\/strong> at the Knox Athletics Track Pavilion<\/strong> on Monday, 18th August 2025 at 7:30 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this meeting, we\u2019ll be voting on an important change to our constitution – introducing a brand-new Affiliate Membership<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is an Affiliate Member?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

An Affiliate membership will allow athletes from other centres to train with our Knox-appointed coaches<\/strong> during our allocated training times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means:
\u2705 Access to our incredible facilities
\u2705 Coaching from our highly skilled and supportive staff
\u2705 A chance to bring more athletes and families into our vibrant community<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Membership would run September\u2013August, with fees proposed between $50\u2013$100 (final fee to be set in consultation with members).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Your Vote Matters<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To make this happen, we must have at least 30 adult members present<\/strong> to form a quorum, and we need your YES vote<\/strong> to bring this exciting initiative to life. Without enough members attending, we\u2019ll sadly need to delay this until next season, and we\u2019d hate to miss the opportunity to grow our centre and share it with the broader athletic community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019d love for every parent to come along, support this initiative and help us make Knox even stronger. Your presence and your vote will open the door for more athletes to experience the incredible community, coaching and facilities that make Knox so special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
