Week 3 – Knox Little Athletics Cross Country in conjunction with Waverley Little Athletics

When: Saturday the 18th of May 2024
Location: Tirhatuan Park, Kriegel Way, Dandenong North (enter via Outlook Drive)
Time: First race begins at 9am sharp<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Race order is as follows:
1 U9 &U10 – 1500m
2. U13-U17 – 3000m
3. U6 – 500m
4. U7 & U8- 1000m
5. U11 & U12 – 2000m<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those wishing to trial (who are not currently members of an LAVIC Centre) – please arrive at 8.30am to collect your temporary patch from Janine our Knox Centre Registrar. Please ensure that you have registered as a trialing athlete with Little Athletics Victoria via this Trial Athlete link<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Athletes from other centres are welcome to run with us – be sure to nominate your athlete by emailing our registrar@klac23.org.au by Thursday the 16th of May 2024 @ 7pm. Please include little athletes name, LAVic Rego # and LAVic Centre little athlete is affiliated with. On the day ensure you have your Commonwealth Bank name patch displayed on the FRONT of your centre uniform singlet, along with the Coles sponsor patch sewn on to your singlet – without this you will not be able to compete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that athletes can only run in their registered age group (athletes CAN NOT run up a distance as per the LAVIC Guidelines).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to run our weekly cross-country event, we do require parent volunteers. Please sign up today via the Cross Country Volunteer SignUp<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n

State Cross Country Relay Championships<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is also your last chance to register your interest up to the upcoming 2024 State Cross Country Relay Championships. Be sure to contact our Team Manager Jess. Email jndux0@bigpond.com<\/a> or have a chat to Jess at Cross country this Saturday. Teams are created at the discretion of our Knox Team manager and are final, no changes will be made. The State Cross-Country Relay Championships is a teams event, where 3 athletes complete a Relay over a Cross-Country course. \u200d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: Cruden Farm, Langwarrin
Age Groups: U9 \u2013 U17 Athletes
Cost: $10 per athlete<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U9 & U10: 3 x 1km
U11 & U12: 3 x 1.5km
