Every now and then we’re asked about the cross country event order, and when a particular age group will run.<\/p>\n
The only race with a set start time is the first event, which starts at 9am.<\/p>\n
All other races will commence in order after the preceding race has been completed and, normally, the whole morning’s program is completed by 10.30am.<\/p>\n
The order for the day is usually up on the notice board.<\/p>\n
The event order rotates on a weekly basis with the exception of the U6 race, which is always the 3rd race.<\/p>\n
The last race one week becomes first race the following week, the first race becomes the second race, and so on.<\/p>\n
So, you can understand that it’s difficult to predict when an age group will run.<\/p>\n
Checkout the notice board each week for the event order and other cross country info.<\/p>\n
If you arrive early for your event, cheer on the other age groups as they run, and warm up so you’re ready to run when you’re called for your race.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
