Both days have additional costs involved and are not covered by the $15 fee. Your coach will have more information if they decide to attend one of these days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Season 2025-26 Age Group Relay Coaches<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n All Relay training this season 2025-26 will be held at the Knox track \u2013 please contact your coach for starting days\/times, which may change from the below table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please confirm training times with coach before attending.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To prepare relay squads for competition the nominated age group coach(s) will provide several training sessions leading up to the competition days. Relay Teams selection is primarily based on performance at weekly Knox competition with the final decision on Team Selection by the Age Group Coach with consultation with the Relay Coordinator and Knox President. <\/strong>Relay squads\/teams are selected based on their potential to progress from Region to State, with ultimately the ability to secure a State final position. Attendance at these training sessions are very useful for the athletes\u2019 general development but is also an important factor in squad selection.
It is important to note that as a team event, relays require commitment from all involved. Squads cannot easily adapt should athletes \u2018drop out\u2019. Commitment to the team, once given, must be followed through to the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
