XC 2023 Open Day

We are excited to announce that the Knox Little Athletics Cross Country Open Day for 2023 will be on Saturday 17 June 2023.

Date: Saturday 17 June 2023
Time: First event at 9:00 am to last event finishes at approximately 12:00 pm.
Where: Jells Park South (Oaks Picnic Area)), Ferntree Gully Road, Wheelers Hill

Registration
Open to athletes registered with Little Athletics Victoria — Knox and other centres.
One (1) event per athlete.
Athletes may enter up one Age Group to make a team – Please plan for this before entering as no changes will be accepted to age groups after entry.
Spikes are not permitted.

  • Late Entries will be accepted online up until 11:59 PM on Friday 16 June 2023
  • Late entry fee is $15 per athlete (also includes SportsTG processing fee).

4 U13 – U17 Boys 3000m

5 U6 Boys – U6 Girls 500m

6 U13 – U17 Girls 3000m

7 U12 Boys – U12 Girls 2000m

8 U10 Boys – U10 Girls 1500m

9 U8 Boys – U8 Girls 1000m

First event starts at 9am. Following races will start directly after the previous race. We do not publish start time for each race. Please ensure you have arrived early. Races will not be held up for athletes that arrive late.

Parent Duty is compulsory. For Knox Families – duty is compulsory. The duty roster will be posted closer to the event date. Please check the duty roster when it is posted and report in no later than 15 minutes prior to the rostered start time. Failure to attend duty may result in athletes being withdrawn from events.

Please note: If you register after WEDNESDAY 14 JUNE you will still be required to undertake duty. You must see the duty manager on Saturday before 8.45am and you will be assigned a duty. Failure to attend duty may result in athletes being withdrawn from events.

Uniforms
Athletes must wear their centre or club uniforms. Please do not wear anniversary tops or other sports top, training tops or jackets/jumpers. A uniform check will be done when athletes marshal. Athletes not wearing correct tops will not be permitted to start.

Name Patches must be worn and visible. All name patches must have Commonwealth Bank on them. Anyone in a Subway branded patch or Jetstar on their top will not be permitted to compete.
