With the current covid restrictions in place until the 2nd September 2021, there is little chance of being able to schedule the Cross Country Championship Day prior to the end of athlete registration period for the 2020/21 season on the 31st August.
Therefore, the Knox Cross Country Committee has made the decision to call an end to the Cross Country Season for 2021.
While it is disappointing to end the season this way, there has been sufficient cross country competition to be able to determine awards and trophies for the season. These will be presented at a date to be determined.
Knox LAC thanks all the athletes, families and the volunteer helpers, from Knox LAC, Sherbrooke LAC and Waverley LAC, and others that provided support each week during the cross country season.
To the Under 16 athletes who have finished their little athletics journey with us, we wish you all good luck for your future endeavours.
To all our other athletes we move to Summer Track and Field. The registration portal is open and we hope to see you all in October for the start of the Summer Track and Field Season.
