2021 State Combined Events Championships – Registration is now open

The first State event is coming up!

The 2021 State Combined Events Championships will take place at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park on the 30th and 31st January 2021.

Athletes in the Under 9 through to Under 16 age groups are eligible to participate.

The Combined Events consist of between five and seven separate disciplines depending on which age group a child is in. Events consisting of five disciplines will be held on one day. Events consisting of more than five disciplines will be held on two consecutive days.

Cost: $40 ($32 Multi-Class Athletes)

Entries Opened: 18th December 2020 (4:00 pm)

Entries Close: 17th January 2021 (11:59 pm) OR; entry cap has been reached.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements. Athletes are able to directly enter without any participating in a previous event.

Event Schedule

Saturday: U9, U10, U13, Multi-Class U9-U10, U11-U12 & U13-U16 (Boys & Girls)

Sunday: U11, U12, U14 & U16 (Boys & Girls)

Saturday & Sunday: Under 15 (Boys & Girls)

LAVIC Event COVID-19 Information

LAVIC have advised that due to the restrictions on the number of patrons in attendance on each day of 1000, excluding those required to conduct the event, such as Staff, Appointed Officials, Centre Officials, & Team Managers, there will be entry caps on each age group that can register.

Only parents/guardians, siblings and those allocated a duty/ role by LAVIC will be allowed to attend. Grandparents, spectators, friends, coaches will not be permitted to attend, as they would be included in the cap and reduce the number of athletes that can participate.

Other than the U15 age group, due to being the qualifying and selection event for the Australian Little Athletics Championships (ALAC), each age group will only compete on one day.

The U14 and U16 age groups will revert back to a 5 event Combined Events, with High Jump removed for U14’s and High Jump and Javelin for the U16’s. The U15’s will remain at 7 events over the 2 days as the qualifier for ALAC.
